Hi-tech industries have been vigorously developing and movements of industries increasing, while labor-management relations in industry have been seriously challenged for the first time forcing the rapid growth of labor-management disputes. Nevertheless, this growth of dispute was slowed down for the time being, yet the disputed number of involved labor and management is still very high. Therefore, the method of prevention and dealing would be a major issue, which in the academic and practical field needs to be dealt with more serious concern. This study is expected to realize the issue and find out the Key Factors of Success (KFS) in the dealing of labor-management dispute in Kaohsiung. The study aims to induce the main factors of dispute and collect data from administration of local governments on cases of labor-management dispute for the last three years. The data will be induced and employed by Logistic Regression method, in order to analyze the KFS in the dealing of labor-management dispute. The results will be concluded as following: (1) the attributes of parties concerned, for example the number of workers, occupation, industrial branch, scale and type of dispute, etc. and their relating impact on KFS in the dealing of dispute; (2) the attributes of mediating institution, the attributes of enterprise, the attributes of dealing process, etc. and their relating impact on KFS in the dealing of dispute; as well as (3) the recommendations for governments and enterprises, which deal with the dispute when happening, to use KFS as assistant tools in decision making and prevention of the dispute.
