Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 93 === The Knowledge-Intensive industry is recognized as the tendency in the future and be valued by the academia, business, and government unit. Nevertheless, the blind spot of knowledge management researches has existed between practices and the academia. Knowledge management literature studied related issues in the perspectives of organization level, and using case study or small sample size survey method. While reviewing the practices in Taiwan, most knowledge management activities happened in the industry level. Therefore, it is necessary that the research unit of knowledge management should be promoted to industry level. Moreover, the research issue of behavioral school is different from technology school. The former usually studied about the tacit knowledge, the latter usually studied about the explicit knowledge. In view of the above, this study attempted to combine the view of the two schools of knowledge management. This study divided the industry-level activities into two parts. One is industry-level knowledge socialization; the other is industry-level knowledge codification. The purpose of this study is to explore the following constructs: (1) The environment of industry-level knowledge management; (2) The socialization issue of industry-level knowledge management; (3) The codification issue of industry-level knowledge management; (4) The performance of industry-level knowledge management. In addition, it also explores the effect of the industry life cycle. The results of this study find that the environment of industry-level knowledge management significantly influences the socialization of industry-level knowledge management, but partly significantly influences the codification of industry-level knowledge management. It also significantly affects the performance of industry-level knowledge management. However, the socialization of industry-level knowledge management is highly significant related to the codification of industry-level knowledge management. Besides, the socialization of industry-level knowledge management is different in each industry life cycle, but it is not significant for codification. According to these results, this study will address some practical and academic suggestions for further researches.
