Summary: | 碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理研究所碩士班 === 93 === The purpose of this research is to empirically test the relationships among leadership traits, behaviors, trust in leadership and OCBs in the case of traffic operation division of Far Eastern Air Transport. The research instrument was composed of four questionnaires including leadership traits that was based on Locus of Control Scale of Spector (1987) and measured by the scale modified of Cheng’s (2001), leadership behaviors that was based on LBDQ of Stogdill in 1974, OCB’s which was based on the concept of Williams & Anderson (1991) and measured by the scale modified of Lo’s (2004), and trust in leadership which was measured by the scale of Mr. Hsu (2001).
This research belongs to a quantitative examination that adopts questionnaires survey to gather the data with 186 valid respondents. The data were statistically analyzed with SPSS10.0 Windows Version that is concerned in factor analysis, reliability test, Pearson correlation analysis and hierarchical regression. The results of this study indicate as the followings:
a.There are significant relationships between internal control trait and OCBs.
b.There are significant relationships between relationship building leadership behavior and IRB, OCBO.
c.Trust in leadership has significant moderator effects on internal, external control traits, relationship building leadership behavior and IRB, OCBI.
d.Trust in leadership has mediator effects on internal control trait and IRB, OCBI.
e.Trust in leadership has mediator effects on relationship building leadership behavior and IRB, OCBO.
f.The interaction effect of leadership traits and leadership behaviors has shown a strong relationship with trust in leadership and OCBs than the leadership traits or the leadership behaviors to the trust in leadership and OCBs.
In addition, conclusions, recommendations as well as limitations were also addressed in the research.
