碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 護理學系碩士班 === 93 === ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to understand the Vietnamese female spouse original culture and the childbirth experience in Taiwan.Research method A modify phenomenological method was conducted and three to four times in-deepth interview were operated to collect the data. Objects A total of nine Vietnamese spouses after childbirth and currently live in Taipei County without previous report physical and emotional distress were participated in this study.Data analysis A thematic analysis which used to analyze the interview data.In addition, the procedural steps as followed: interviews--transcribed verbatim--significant statements-- themes--full description of the experience. Results induces the growth history of hope seed in the foreign land：Respectively is 1.The seed in the storm. 2.The seed in the land,3 The seed in bud.4.The life flower unfolds the face. Under the Vietnamese females treat attentively and continues growth in the husband's household, also receives the influence on the traditional sex role and presents characteristic of "the sacrifice ".Besides she also takes the economical and strength the family bond multiple roles. Discussion According to the Leininger culture care theory, the Vietnamese society pay much attention to do the feeding baby and doing the month The feeding culture repatterning and restructuring under the dual culture after childbirth, the key roles are the childbirth place, husband‘s decision and the biologic family support as well as practical help fully. The research conclusion, The key factors revive the Vietnamese physical and emotional health are the family support and care. The majority of this research participators are the small family, it displays not only live with without family but also get less family’s support household need more care for medical personnel. According to the Leininger culture care theory, the Vietnamese society pays much attention to do the month and taking a great care of the new born baby. The culture differencies between Vietnam and Taiwan are the way of feeding baby and doing the month .Due to the concern of caring their husbands and children, those Vietnamese women couldn’t get the rest fully. In the new multi- races Taiwan society,to the researcher’s consideration the health professionals should build up enough cultural sensitivity to work for those new arrival immigrant and pay respect the vein of original culture、break the cultural discriminate against prejudice.Nervertheless, the health professionals shall promote the ability of culture protecting and enhance the care quality to who married migrant families.
