Abstract:
In order to provide consumer profiles for textile machinery importing agent in marketing strategy planning, questionnaire survey about pump’s brand perception, procurement decision factor and customer satisfaction factor had been conducted on the related personnel of domestic textile company. Responses of those personnel selected by Judgment Sampling were statistically analyzed by Descriptive Statistics, Chi-Square Test, Relative to an Identified Distribution, Multidimensional Scaling and Analytic Hierarchy Process. The survey results obtained are briefing as below:
1)Price and quality are determinate factors for the brand decision and customer satisfaction, of which also meets the character of oligopoly.
2).Decision weights for 5 leading brand and among quality, price, delivery and service are different among procurement department , maintenance department and end user.
3).The brand preference ordering for A1 and A2 are different between the procurement department and end user.
4).Among the five leading brand, A1 and A2 are competitors, as for A3,A4 andA5 is another group of competition.
5).The perception of brand superiorities (quality, awareness or market share) and price competition on the five leading brand are different among the procurement department, end user and maintenance department.
6).Among all attributes of the customer satisfaction, “maintenance/ repairing charge ”is less satisfied.
7).A1 is the best selling brand.
8).“ Spinning Pump” is the most demanding product category.
