Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 應用統計學研究所 === 93 === Recently, the growth of circuit renting market is rapidly. In order to defeat the competitors, the circuit suppliers should realize what are customer need and then adjust the attributions of their products to meet customers’ demands.
In this study, the circuit’s market has been discriminated into two groups, “Big Enterprise Group” and “ Small Enterprise Group” based on the characteristics of enterprises. “Switching Tendency and Barrier” and “Switching Cost” are the main factors which influence whether enterprises will switch suppliers or not.
According to the preference of suppliers’ type, “Fixed Network Service Providers” are the main choice and “Leased-Circuit Service Providers” are the second choice for all Type II Telecommunication Enterprises. In aspect of renting “Local Leased Circuits”, “Long-distance Leased Circuits” and “International Submarine Cable Leased Circuits” from Fixed Network Service Providers, the renting rate of Big Enterprises is higher than Small Enterprises. In aspect of renting “Local Leased Circuits” from Leased-Circuit Service Providers, the renting rate of Small Enterprises is higher than Big Enterprises.
When enterprises renting, they will consider “providers” as first priority and the most favorite is Chunghwa Telecom Co.; renting cost is the second consideration. When enterprises choose suppliers, they will consider “the whole show of suppliers” as first priority then “circuit type provided” and then “credit line”.
Finally, the leasing scale of Chunghwa is the largest in Fixed Network Service Providers and it owns the most integrated last mile. This is the biggest advantage of Chunghwa. In enterprises’ mind, Sparq Telecom Co. has the best reputation. Taiwan Fixed Network Co. and Asia Pacific Broadband Telecom Co. have something in common. Maybe they are competitors with each other very seriously.
