Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 食品營養學系 === 93 === The study aimed to investigate the situation of meals food away from home (FAFH) and vegetable, fruit consumption habit of department store’s workers in Taipei and Kaohsiung. We adopt the open type questionnaire answered by the subjects on spot, of which contents include the basic data, food frequency, dining situation( include how many times of having food away from home everyday) and dietary supplements. Chi-square, student’s t test and pearson correlation coefficient statistical procedures were performed to analyze the dietary habit. The result shows that the subjects in Taipei and Kaohsiung have significant different in the age, education, marriages, disease and gender. The percentage of the subjects having food away from home in Taipei and Kaohsiung is about 80~90%, and the snake in the midnight is more than 50%. There was significant different between the 2 groups in the each meals (except the lunch). The way of having the meals, in general, is to have the breakfast of western style, and the lunch and supper at the Chinese restaurant or meal box store, snack shops or peddler, and the noodle snake in the midnight. Regarding the intake from various food, the subjects in Taipei are significant lower than in Kaohsiung in taking the vegetable such as cauliflower and cabbage in average every week. The subjects in Taipei are significant lower than in Kaohsiung in taking the fruit such as orange, guava, kiwi, and other season fruit(P=0.01、0.00、0.01、0.00). Regarding the addition from dietary supplements, the 28% of the group in Taipei have the habit, and 28% for Kaohsiung. The subjects in Kaohsiung are significant higher than in Taipei in taking the fish oil, lecithin and bee propolis. 50% of the subjects took more than 3 exchanges vegetable and 33% of the subjects took more than 2 exchanges fruit everyday according to the saying of the subjects. In FFQ, the 62% of subjects took more than 3 exchanges vegetable and the 53% of the subjects took more than 2 exchanges fruit everyday. The 45% of the group in Taipei thought that took more than 3 exchanges vegetable per day and the 55% for Kaohsiung (P=0.04). The 30% of the group in Taipei thought that took more than 2 exchanges fruit, and 35% for Kaohsiung. In consequence, the percentage of FAFH and vegetable, fruit consumption is higher than others study. The vegetable and fruits are still lower than the amount of suggestion of the food guideline. Therefore, we suggest to still enhance to guide the vegetable and fruit to take.
