The subjects of the study are 647 junior high school students chosen from Taipei City and Taipei County who live with their parents but not the only child. The results show that, first of all, adolescents have positive perceptions on several aspects of their family relationships, they are: “sense of security and empathy and rust and respect of the mother’s attachment”, “support and cooperation of parental coparenting”, “trust and respect of the father’s attachment”, and “cooperation and sharing between siblings”. On the other hand, adolescents do not perceive high levels of “marriage conflict between parents”, “critique and undermine of parental coparenting”, and “sense of security and empathy of father’s attachment”. Secondly, adolescents feel certain level of sense of well-being concerning the aspects of “life satisfaction and in control feeling”, “harmonious interpersonal relationship”, and “overall well-being”. The “life satisfaction and the in control feeling” and “overall well-being” do not differ due to gender differences. However, female students feel more “harmonious interpersonal relationship” than male students. In addition, adolescents with different grades show no significant differences on any aspects of sense of well-being. Thirdly, except for the adolescents’ perceptions of “the frequency of the parental marriage conflict”, and “the feeling of self-threat” which appear to be significant negative correlations, the correlations between other family relationships and adolescent well-being appear to be significantly positive. Finally, adolescents’ perceptions of “trust and respect of the father’s attachment”, “cooperation and sharing between siblings”, “trust and respect and sense of security and empathy of the mother’s attachment”, and “critique and undermine of parental coparenting” have significant associations with “life satisfaction and in-control feeling”. Except for the “sense of security and empathy of the mother’s attachment”, the above factors also significantly associated with adolescent “overall well-being”. Moreover, “cooperation and sharing between siblings”, “trust and respect of the mother’s attachment”, and gender reveal significant associations with adolescents’ “harmonious interpersonal relationship”.
