University students in Northern Taiwan with dating relationships participated in the study and 275 returned valid questionnaires. Analyses revealed that partner’s positive personality traits, interactive compatibility, and partner’s conflict management (integrating and obliging) positively correlated with one’s own satisfaction, whereas partner’s dominating conflict management negatively correlated with one’s own satisfaction. Hierarchical regression analyses further revealed that more partner’s positive personality traits, better interactive compatibility, and partner’s more frequent use of integrating and obliging conflict management behaviors predicted one’s own higher relationship satisfaction. Finally, partner’s positive personality traits mediated the impact of partner’s conflict management on one’s own relationship satisfaction. In other words, partner’s both integrating and obliging conflict management had direct and indirect effects on one’s own relationship satisfaction. LuLou 陸洛 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 140 zh-TW |
