Later on value-added network services and Type-I telecommunications services were privatized. Also in 1997 four mobile communications services and satellite communications were open to private sectors. Within 1998-2000 leased line services were gradually privatized. With the issuance of Third Generation (3G) wireless network licenses in 2002, the telecommunications market in Taiwan has been completely liberalized. In the past wireless communications only provide basic voice service and limited value added services. With the advent of 3G networks and the corresponding broadband wireless technologies, integrated and personalized wireless services would be offered, one of which is the real-time transmission of stock option and future option information to customers. In order to provide this service, a platform must be developed to process the related financial market data and deliver the required information to the customers. This research is focused on the development of such a platform. The means of delivering the information would be specified by the customers and they can also specify related parameters on the platform based on their financial and investment needs to personalize the service. Since obtaining first-hand information on options requires specific calculation and analysis, the real-time delivery of such information is more complicated than that of simple stock prices. The purpose of this research is to design a real-time delivery system to transmit such first-hand information that meets customer needs, and the system is based on Messaging Services and mobile communications technologies.
