First of all, not only the EMI standards and rules, but also the fast procedures will be described and is discussed in this thesis. However, only the conducted noise will be considered for the EMI filter design. In order to separate the common noise from the differential noise, a differential mode rejection network is designed and implemented. Later, the concept of insertion loss will be used to determine the equivalent impedance of noise and corresponding component resonant frequencies. According to the EMI filter design plan and procedure addressed in this thesis, an EMI filter for Asymmetrical Half-Bridge Converter is easily to be designed and implemented.
