Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 電機工程所 === 93 === In this thesis we present a wavelet transform technique for analyzing the frequency spectrum transferred from estimative motor’s noise signals. From motor’s noise we can monitor the state of the motor system. Using wavelet compression technique for motor’s noise data is also investigated. The goal of compression a signal is to minimize the storage or medium capacity needed to hold or to transmit the information contained in the signal. For long distance application of monitoring the motor system, the signal transmission time can be reduced. It is ineffectively for detecting temporary signal with traditional analytical Fourier transform. Owing to the wavelet transform has good natures both in time and frequency domain, and the characteristic of multiresolution analysis, so it’s an efficient method in detecting and localizing transient signal and more efficient than Fourier transform. The influences on the compression efficiency and quality by different mother wavelets, scale levels and thresholdings are investigated in this thesis. Design considerations for the accuracy of compression and how to get the optimal solution are also provided.
