The yarn thickness and density can be expressed with the fractional rate (C) of the fabric. The highest value of the fractional cover of the fabric that can be woven is limited by the loom. In this study, we first measure the diameter of the yarn to acquire the specific volume and calculate the fractional cover (C) values of different kinds of fabrics. We utilize W.J.L to weave plain , and fabric. And utilize A.J.L to weave plain and filling rib weave fabrics. It is found that the highest C% of the fabrics woven by W.J.L are follows: 102.47% for the plain fsbric,110.73% for the , 108.32% for the . The highest C% of the fabrics woven by A.J.L are follows : 87.6% for the plain fabric and 88.4% for the filling rib weave . In order to response and accept orders from customers as fast as possible , we also measure the air permeability values with the air permeability tester in this research. Those values for W.J.L are : 34.3 cm3/cm2-sec for the plain , 13.5 cm3/cm2-sec for the and 50.01 cm3/cm2-sec for the . And those values for A.J.L are : 31.3 cm3/cm2-sec for the plain and 62.3 cm3/cm2-sec for the filling rib weave .
