Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 水利工程所 === 93 === In this study, the influence of wave reflection to the wave runup on smooth and stepped dike was carry out. For the reflection wave, it always interacted with the incident wave and make the wave energy increase. Its result often influence wave runup on the dike surface. In the research of wave reflection, Huang (1998) proposed the correlation between the wave reflection coefficient and the surf similarity parameter, but how about the reflection wave to influence the wave runup on the dyke was not found. In this study, the three wave meter measurement method which proposed by Issacson (1991) was used for calculate the wave reflection coefficient first. At the second, the assumption of linear addition in wave energy was used. After that computation, the change of wave height that in front of the dike can be calculated. By use those combined wave to compare with the incident wave to see the influence of waves to the wave runup height was complete too. For comparison, the correlation curve which proposed by Ahrens (1993) and Titus (1985) was quoted for comparison. The result is reasonable. As to the prediction of wave runup height, the wave momentum flux parameter method which proposed by Hughes (2003) is used. After compares with the measured data, we find the above mentioned empirical equations need to modify. By use the modified equations to calculate the wave runup height and compared with the measured data. We can see the fitness is reasonable. Besides, from the result of experiment, we can see the decrease of the wave runup height in stepped dike is greater then in the smooth dike.
