Various Engineering changes could not be avoided during the development of a production. However, appropriate control of engineering changes can improve the design and quality of the product. In this paper, we analyze the engineering change requests proposed for the development of a typical aerospace product to get their trend curves, and also discuss the factors for the approval of any change request evaluated by the customer. The ideal of the engineering change proposal is to meet the customer’s requirement and becomes the tool to improve the product continuously.
