碩士 === 大葉大學 === 造形藝術學系碩士在職專班 === 93 === ABSTRACT This thesis set out from the origins and development of the Collage Art.Using modern Collage Art as the major axle, the thesis is expanded to the theory and exposition of Cubism, Futurism, Data, Surrealism, Abstract expression to Ashcan School and Pop Art; then it comes back to how aboriginal Taiwanese use Collage Art in their life and work. To probe into the history of Collage Art, this thesis has adapted history research, style & pattern research,documentary comparison & analysis, and analysis & induction; systematically analyze the difference between all kinds of factions from different eras. This is to comprehend the spirit of Collage Art; furthermore, base on this study, to explore individual creation skills and style expression. In addition, the creation concept should be based on the Collage Art. There are four series of creative work listed as below: 1.Human and Animal Series 2.Human Series 3.Scenery Series 4.Abstract Expression Series Through documentary and creation work, this thesis probes into the beauty of Collage Art, including the beauty of: concrete substance, abstraction, image, color and geometry. Moreover, it is to comprehend the four features of Collage Art. As to the future development of Collage Art, I personally expect that artists could make their art creation based on the concept of environmental concerns and give “garbage” a new life so to recycle the nature resource. I wish I myself could use more materials as the media of my work, and head for decoration art. If I have chances in the future, I would like to create children’s illustration story books, or illustration books with Collage Art that are welcome by all ages. It is my dream and goal to give illustration story books new energy combined with Collage Art and literature creating. Key Words : Collage
