At the same time, after GNP of the nation increased year with year, cosmetic products are abundant in the market places. To understand psychology about make up and cosmetics in Taiwan, the researcher created this study. Since to survey the whole female population in Taiwan is not possible for an researcher as myself without any project fund support, therefore the researcher took vocational high school girl students as a test study, these students belong to cosmetic department, they are potential cosmetic users in the future, at the same time they know more about cosmetics and make up. The researcher has collected 221 valid semantic technique based questionnaires, and use SPSS statistic software for data treatment. There are four major factors have been found from the factor analysis. Factor one could be named as: judgment factor for beauty. Adjectives in this group contain make up is a fundamental social necessity, importance of cosmetic, etc. Factor two could be named as: concern about improvement of external beauty factor. Questions in this group include “I want to use cosmetics to make myself prettier, I hope others will appreciate my beauty. Factor three could be named as: critic about cosmetic for human being. Factor four could be named as: value and function of cosmetic factor. Adjectives in this group such as: “objective of cosmetic is to attract different gender”, “cosmetic is for increase .self confidence”.
