Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 事業經營研究所碩士在職專班 === 93 === The prime purpose of this study is to examine the experience and working behaviors of female officers and soldiers during the military service period. After made cross checking and extensive discussion with eight female officers and soldiers, the analysis disclosed a result that they have crisis about their future uncertainties in military community in which traditionally managed by male all the time. That is to say, other than the responsibilities and duty imposed to a soldier which they have to take, their traditional role in the family and society as a carrier mother and tender of family under Chinese Culture also bring further pressure to them. They have to balance them selves in their carrier and family to fulfill the responsibilities as applied by the country and family. Therefore, they have to pay for extremely contribution to meet this demand. Military society is indeed having two different standards to deal with those female soldiers and because of the differences, it appears to different expectations. To most female soldiers, “Bond of Glass Roof” is one of the special phenomenons they were encountered. It reflects that the female soldiers may see their brightness future through the glass fence, but can hardly passing through. The promotional obstacles were appeared mostly in an invisible manner, but the system and policy currently used is not the key factor causing the barrier. On the contrary, the operation function of system made most female officers and soldiers find difficulties in planning their own future, no mention controlling their military experiences, which made them as a minor and weaker group in the entire community. As a new generation, professional military females, the best way to face the different roles of the carrier women and soldier is to clearly diversify the field from public to private to maintain their tenderness and loving care status as a regular traditional women when they return back to the family. And vice versa. As to the phenomenon of controlling and managing women officers and soldiers’ working experiences, this study is going to find out what went wrong on the entire system and would like going through this study to bring the policy on the right track.
