In other words, Alvar Aalto had elevated Modernism to a higher spiritual and psychological level. This study proposes to evaluate Alvar Aalto''s architecture from the standpoint of Kenneth Frampton’s Critical Regionalism. The first is the theoretic part focused on the main gist of Critical Regionalism and on its inter-relationship with Alvar Aalto''s architectural thought.
