The effects of tip convection on the temperature distributions along the fin and the heat flow rate at fin base is also examined. A numerical computation is performed by the commercial software Matlab.
Analytical solution for two other boundaries and the tip is insulated
are also obtained. It is obtained by the variables Bi1, Bi2 and D to know
the relation of temperature and heat flux .By the knowledge of fin temperature distribution, and heat transfer rate one can improve the fine performance, life timing and working efficiency.
