There are so many equipments and many kinds of facilities as power systems; UPS, SMR, generator, air condition need to get better maintenance and operations. Comparatively the communication rooms expand continuously, the manpower of operation engineers are shortage, the engineers need to manager lots of cell sites, if in case get bad situation, the maintenance people would be very busy. This research base on facilities maintenance management, first of all, the purpose of research wants to probe into what kinds of department or equipment properly perform knowledge management, what kinds activities of knowledge management can promote the facilities maintenance efficiency, second of all, documents reference that define data, information and knowledge, then realize the definitions of knowledge management, activity and management process. The theory structure comes out after referred documents, interview the heads of relevant department to get thought to establish concept structure, then making questionnaires to collect data, in order to analyze. By the analysis, we focus on how the knowledge management can enhance the efficiency of maintenance job, engineers properly get better effectiveness, cost down and higher customers service. Hopefully use the information technologies can reach the concept of the knowledge management, promoting each different systems of maintenance ability, let invisible wisdom property to keep tracking, classify expand and update for application that can bring skill, talent into full play. The infrastructure of communication could have been connected to the information; it can disseminate the voice, image, data and all kinds of information if we got faultless construction of communication.
