碩士 === 長榮大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 93 === After Taiwan joined the WTO in 2002, the pressure of commercial liberty had an impact on the traditional industries, especially on those protected by the government. So, the farmers’ associations have to develop the strategic alliance of production and distribution. Therefore, this research was to find out the farmers’ association how to develop the farm produce strategic alliance. Thought the literature review, we can find the literatures are much less common in the farmers’ association develops the farm produce strategic alliance. Based on the reviews of related literatures and interviews to some experts, this study uses the case study and the Analytic Hierarchy Process to discuss the key success factors of the development of the strategic alliance of production and distribution for the farmers’ association. The samples were gathered the experts of the farming industry and the government in Taiwan. We find the key success factors are as follows: the rate of made profits, the rate of reached aim, the performance of operation and the maintenance. Thus, there are positive influence among the joining motivation, the alliance partners chooses and the alliance control mechanism. So, the farmers’ associations have to focus the farmers’ profit to be a success of the strategic alliance of production and distribution. Only if the two sides build up positive consensus and strive for a win-win situation for collaborations in the farmers’ association and farmers.
