Due to the different work scopes, the financial feasibility analysis are quite different between these two contracting models. It is sometimes confusing for the project owner to execute the contract without throughout understanding of the characters of these two models. As a result, this thesis aims at establishing the financial models for both BOT and Design/Build contracts from the viewpoint of project financial feasibility analysis during the conceptual planning stage for a specific project. The study develops feasibility flowcharts for two different contracting models applying on a college dormitory construction the result of this study also provide the government agents an useful tool to choose an approcpriate contracting model for their project during the conceptual planning stage.
