碩士 === 中華大學 === 經營管理研究所 === 93 === Abstract The purpose of this research was to explore governments’ abilities for SARS crisis management in view of news report. This research was used content analysis method and descriptive statistics to conduct the research process. The period of this research was between 03/15/2003 to 06/15/2004. The research results found that: 1. Taiwan government had not enough SARS crisis strengthen command system. 2. Taiwan government had not enough deploy manpower properly for SARS crisis. 3. Taiwan government could not provide adequate equipment for SARS crisis. 4. Taiwan government could not implement security measures in local squad for SARS crisis. 5. Taiwan government could not place importance on the relaxation of pressure for emergency management for SARS crisis. 6. Taiwan government had not enough reinforce on-the-job training for SARS crisis. 7. Taiwan government could not modify the standard operation procedures for SARS crisis. 8.
