Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 93 === With the help of boom in bioinformatics development, many genes have been discovered and their functions were determined in the past decade. Each gene is unique yet interacts collectively with others. Interactions among different genes could constitute thousands of biopathways essential to life. This creates an unbearable challenge for biologists who are eagle to explore those interactions in detail. This study was to construct an integral tool that allows research scientists to establish, edit, and revise a prototype of virtual biopathway of interest. The virtual biopathways can be constructed by research scientists using data resources extracted from a public database, research articles, user’s experiment data, or even the combination of these resources. Research scientists then can speculate possible functions and roles of a specific gene(s) that could exhibit in the biopathway. In this study, a demonstration was performed to explore the possible mechanism(s) that could leads to follicular development during egg-laying in Colorful Broilers.
