Description
Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 93 === The wireless physiological monitoring provides a way to know the physiological status of patients, soldier, etc. The wireless transmission of physiological signal or information from multiple sites of the body can reduce the inconvenience caused by the wire connection. However, the data amounts and transmitting frequency of transmission for various physiological signal or information are so different that a multiple-point transmission protocol is needed. In this thesis, a simulation system based on the MATLAB/SIMULINK for the Slotted-ALOHA wireless transmission was proposed on the basis of nRF2401 RF transceiver (Nordic Inc., Norway). The results demonstrated the packet error rate decreases in the communication channel with higher signal-to-noise ratio. Moreover, the re-transmitting mechanism can reduce packet error rates caused by data collisions. The advantage of the proposed simulation system can be easily modified for physiological monitoring in different conditions or applications. Incorporating the characteristics of the channel and the consideration of low power consumption into the simulation system can provide essential information about the optimal settings in actual system design.
