Summary: | 碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 93 === In this thesis, based on a PIC16F877A microprocessor, a temperature controller with Modbus network protocol is designed, where the function modules include display, keyboard, sensor circuit, driver circuit, and RS-485 communication interface. In order to simplify the tuning process of PID controller, the Z-N tuning rule is used such that the required controller parameters can be obtained by itself during the operation process. An insulated container is used as the control plant to evaluate the performance, in which different environments can be simulated by changing the size of heat sink. Experimental results indicates that the precision of the addressed temperature controller is 0.5 oC .
