The purpose of new drug clinical trials is to validate the effectiveness the new drug. The experiments of new drug clinical trials should be conducted by the authorized doctors. The clinical trial process within the specified entente it involves a lot of tedious works, such as patents’ visits arrangement, examining the dedicated check items for each patient, writing report in each patient visit, etc.
So the investigation team should spend a lot of time to finish to finish the experiment. The purpose of this research is to design a software system to help the investigation team to manage and control the clinical trial process.
A web-based clinical trial information system is designed and implemental on Windows 2000 Server system by jsp in this research. The system has the following features: (1). the principal investigation can easily monitor the progresses of the experiment and each team member, (2). the system will automatically notify the nurse to average the site visit schedule for each patient, (3). The system will notify the nurse the necessary drugs and kit in each patient visit, and (4). The principal investigator will finish the final report in a short time using the data base of the system.
