And according to the finding, the researcher proposed some suggestions for the references to the planning of the adults’ service learning. The researcher adopted the interview method. The samples were drawn from the Taiwanese volunteers participating in the service learning in the home of dying in India. The research tool was based on “The Interview Outline of Adults’ Participating Service Learning Motivation and Learning Effectiveness”. According to the research finding, the results were generalized into five as below: 1. Adults’ service learning motivation concluded personal factors, assisting factors, serving society factors, and circumstances factors. The first factors were the strongest motivations among them. 2. Following the spirit of Mother Teresa to be an international volunteer was the most important factor for the volunteers’ service learning motivation in the home of dying in India. 3. After the adults had participated the home of dying in India, their service learning effectiveness included the self-growth and the intention of assisting others to serve the society. The first one was the most effective, and the second one was the less. 4. The information of assisting people came from all kinds of channels to motivate more people to get involved. 5. The sharing was the most important way to the service learning, and facilitated the service learning effectiveness. According to these results, this research proposed suggestions to the adults’ volunteer organizations or the adults’ educational institutions for the future study. none 黃富順 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 101 zh-TW
