The 249 subjects were selected by impulsive questionnaire and research criterion from three junior high schools in Chai Yi County. Based on their gender and scores, the subjects were separated into high impulsive boys (N =54), low impulsive boys (N =67), high impulsive girls (N =51), and low impulsive girls (N= 144); based on their misconduct records, subjects were divided into misconduct group (N =49) and non-misconduct group (N = 200). Furthermore, the Nellcor NPB-40 Handheld Pulse Oximeter was used to measure the heart rate of the subjects. The findings have shown that the high impulsive boys had significant lower heart rate than the low impulsive boys (t =2.17, p<.05). The misconduct group had significant higher impulsive scores than the non-misconduct group (t =3.11,p<.01). Moreover, the misconduct group had significant lower heart rate than the non-misconduct group (t = -2.18,p<.05). The results will be helpful and feasible to apply the measurements of the impulsivity, heart rate, and misconduct of the junior high school students for the treatment of the juvenile delinquency.
