Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 心理學所 === 93 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of LiCl experience on stress and behavioral responses induced by LiCl. The index of stress response was serum glucocorticoid, and the index of behavioral response was neophobia and CTA learning. Experiment 1 showed that (a ) corticosterone and CTA induced by LiCl was attenuated by prior exposure of LiCl ( 0.15M, 10ml/kg ), (b ) there was relationship between these changes of stress endocrine response and behavioral response induced by LiCl, and (c ) neophobia was enhanced. Experiment 2 showed that the effect of the prior LiCl experience on stress response was not about the action of glucocorticoid receptors because of the same suppression of corticosterone by dexamethasone. This study suggests that the illness experience induced by prior LiCl causes (a ) the tolerance of stress endocrine response, (b ) the retardation of CTA, and (c ) the augmentation of neophobia.
