Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 會計與資訊科技研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this research is to empirically study the performance determinants of the multi-outlet businesses (MOB) and to recommend the pilot structure of the performance managerial monitoring system. Although there have been many researches studying about performance determinants of multi-outlet businesses and strategic information system planning (SISP), there is no one trying to integrate these two different parts of performance determinants of MOB and pilot structure of SISP, even though the integration makes great value to the industrial productivity. Three major contributions will be made from this research. First, it will add evidence to the performance determinants literature and will help to sieve more efficiently the determinants of MOB by applying four research perspectives of environment, operation, manpower, and customer. Especially, it will enhance the literature of the automotive service’s performance. Second, this research will offer a methodology called OPES (Outlet’s Performance Evaluation System) serving as the pilot structure of the result of BP-ISP (Business Planning-Information Systems Planning). The third contribution, which is also the most important one, is to integrate two perspectives of performance determinants and system information planning so as to help make more easily and smoothly such business operations as strategy, internal auditing, long-term business planning, performance determinants, and the on-line monitoring. This empirical research will help the industries to confirm if they employ right people to do the right things or just do the things right, also will help to make sure the purpose of their strategy can be reached by up to the standard of quality, schedule and cost effective.
