It is thus important for health care workers to update themselves with the newest breakthroughs in medical science. The most common ways to acquire and share information include attending annual meetings held by the professional association, seminars, speeches, lectures or training course. Technology and medical science have evolved through time. With the improvement of technology and the constant renewal in medical science, updating knowledge and skills have become essentials. E-learning is one of the applications enabled by the use of internet. This study investigates the factor influencing the intention to use e-learning as a continuing education tool among health care workers using physical therapists as subjects. This study examines the interactions among “perceived ease of use”, “perceived usefulness”, and “intention to use” as well as the factors that influence them by Technology Acceptance Model. This study then concludes that when users perceive a tool as “perceived ease of use”, then such tool receive a higher rating for “perceived usefulness” which then contributes to the “intention to use”. External factors of technology acceptance model include support of supervisor and size of organization in the aspect of organization structure and type of course, course presentation in the aspect of lesson structure.
