Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 93 === With the improvement of wireless communication technology, more and more services are provided through wireless communication. Users can carry their mobile devices, such as mobile phones, PDAs, or other hand-held devices, and connect to the Internet as long as they are roaming in the coverage area of the base station or satellite. The wireless network is a kind of asymmetric communication whose upload speed is less than its download speed, hence push-based information access strategy is suitable for this environment. In push-based strategy, servers actively broadcast shared data items onto shared channels and the subscribers tune to these channels to download desired data items. However, sometimes the broadcasted contents are classified or require a paid subscription. In this condition, we should design an access control scheme to guarantee only authorized users can access to the broadcasted contents in their subscription periods. In this thesis, we reviewed several proposed access control schemes and then identify some existing problems when applying each of the above algorithms in a wireless environment under push-based strategy. Further, we aim to propose a new access control scheme that can provide acceptable security and better performance. For this scheme, we hope it can be deployed in the content-selling scenario.
