Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 93 === The same information system applied to different enterprises might end up in different results due to different factors, Bashein et al. research indicates that human factor might be the core factor that leads to either success or failure of the system,Research also shows that when personal expectation is met,the individual who works on the system is more satisfied with the job he is doing,He or she is more likely to perform better at his job,The market is getting more and more competitive, hardware prices are getting cheaper and cheaper; thus it has been a focus of enterprisers to make sure that the information department fully utilize the resources in order to help business become more competitive.
In the past, the level of satisfaction of users measured success of an information system. However, as information system develops, the measurement changes as well. IS Personnel operate the system, thus they play an important role in deciding the success or failure of the system. I will research an enterprise that uses customized information system, an enterprise that uses ready-made information system and an enterprise that uses semi-customized information system. I will research the relationship between the level of satisfaction of users and IS Person. I will also study the differences in their cognition of satisfactions. I hope this study will enhance the productivity of the department of information system in Taiwan.
The research is based on the study of three enterprises that have used information systems for years in their companies. The research shows the following results:
1.The satisfaction level of the IS Personnel has a lot to do with the cognitive of the the information department
2.The satisfaction level of users has a lot to do with the cognitive of the the information department.
3.There is a great difference in the level of satisfaction regarding the cognition of productivity of the information department between users and the staffs. The difference is based on the Relationship with the Staff, the work attitudes of the staffs, the communication abilities of the staffs, and the abilities of the staffs to offer related degree of training and applications of technologies.
