Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 93 === With the rising competition among different industries, information technology can help organizations improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Research shows that using information technology can raise the operating efficiency and reduce administration costs of hospitals. In other words, hospital management relies on information technology more and more. DeLone & McLean brought up information systems success model (IS success model) to express the relationships among information quality, system quality, service quality, users’ usage and willingness of usage, satisfaction, and benefits of using the information system. Most medical center hospitals in Taiwan adopt Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to process and store medical image and to communicate within hospitals through network. This research uses the IS success model to test and verify the performance of PACS after the middle and southern medical center hospitals adopted the technology. Through data analysis, the results show that the system quality, information quality, and service quality of PACS have positive effects on users’ willingness and satisfaction to use PACS. Meanwhile, users’ willingness, satisfaction, and net benefit of using PACS are positively correlated to each other. However, there is no significant difference among different job subjects and different experience of using information technology in terms of system quality, information quality, and service quality, willingness, and satisfaction of using PACS. The results of this research can be used as reference to provide researchers for future research about PACS, or to increase the success of adopting PACS for potential users.
