Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防大學中正理工學院 === 軍事工程研究所 === 93 === Warfare in the 21st is based on information and developing the network centric warfare, making military digitization is an important for a country’s national defense. A cmbat terrain information system(CTIS) is a kernel system of digitization systems, can be used for developing combat information system. Although Taiwan has made achievements in what the military terrain analysis research, the standardization of CTIS and command & control(C&C) is still being discussed. Terrain databases and terrain analysis models related to nature of the terrain and military use criteria are still being researched discussion in accordance with differences in national conditions. The DoD Architecture Framework(DoDAF) is currently applied to develop combat information systems in the U.S.A, and ensures that they can be combined and interoperated. DoDAF products are standardized in terms of assessment, management and development planning. The architecture frame determines the combat terrain information system architecture, which is combined with command warfare and control. The architecture contains the demand specification which describes the military terrain analysis and database design. ESRI ArcGIS software is applied to be set up the database and tactical decision aids (TA-HU and TAO-YUAN). The design and result are assessed by investigating the field, then verifying the architecture. Make via the result of studying area, verify the demand of architecture, can apply to develop the system. After field investigation can verify that the military terrain analysis can be analyzed to aid military decision-making. However, the analytical results do not correspond with the partial field, because the complete database does not include some terrain features, such as slope protection, windbreak, agricultural greenhouse.
