| Summary: | 碩士 === 國防大學中正理工學院 === 造船工程研究所 === 93 === Underwater radiation noise is a very important factor for most ships, such as fishing boats, warships, oceanographic and fisheries research vessels…etc.
In this thesis, characteristics of underwater noise caused by ships and methods to compute those noises were studied firstly. Then, the method of underwater noise measurement including instructments required, procedures of measurement and data processing etc. were also studied in this thesis.
The measured noise of the vessel is high, but not higher than what would be expected for a high speed vessels with propellers optimized for efficiency rather than noise.
