Summary: | 碩士 === 真理大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 93 === The paper is to combine four hierarchical dimensions of project success, proposed by Shenhar et al. (2001), into three hierarchical dimensions of project success which is divided into short-term, median-term and long-term level, as dependent variables. Independent variables include ten internal factors (project mission, top management support, schedule/plans, client consultation, personnel, technical tasks, client acceptance, monitoring and feedback, communication, trouble-shooting) and four external factors (leadership, power and politics, environmental effects, urgency) proposed by Pinto and Slevin(1988), and the technological uncertainty as moderating variable is also used to investigate the effectual determinants of project success of 1,176 listed corporations in Taiwan. The result is that the effect of the environmental events in external factors, project mission and trouble-solving in internal factors is significantly positive for the short-term, median-term and long-term project success, and personnel in internal factors does for the long-term project success too. Additionally, technological uncertainty does not intervene in the effects of internal and external factors on the short-term, median-term and long-term project success, which is not consistent with the previous foreign researches. Accordingly, the leader of project should make the project mission clear, enforce the skills of trouble-solving, stabilize the personnel system to respond the changing environment for increasing the probability of project success.
