This research took software industry of Taiwan as searching target; it expected to investigate the perspective of Taiwan’s software industry to cooperative models and key factors. The two main goals of this research are to investigate cooperative key factors of software industry in Taiwan, the preference of software cooperative model in industry and to investigate cooperative key factors of cooperative model. Firstly, after the professional interview of industry and literature survey, it can be found that cooperative models and cooperative key factors of software industry in Taiwan may be affected by capitalized cost, risk, resource obtained, and learning, industrial surrounding. Moreover, this research was analyzed and inferred according to the interviewed enterprises in software industry. It indicated that software enterprises with different characters may have different viewpoints to cooperative perspective. Four questions were set up for questionary. The first question is that the cooperative key factors of authorized cooperative model are reducing research risk, reducing research cost, obtaining brand resource and learning technology. The second question is that the cooperative key factors of marketing cooperative model are marketing and research division, learning how to do marketing, obtaining brand resource. The third question is that the cooperative key factors of cooperative model of different industries are increasing brand image and learning knowledge of different industries. The last question is that the cooperative key factors of oversea cooperative model are increasing brand resource and decreasing interference caused by policy.
