Beginning with the concept of ubiquitous computing, the intelligent environment and related guiding systems are introduced. A comparison of successful local and foreign applications is studied. The pros and cons of the comparison form the basis of this study. The technique of mobile computing is further implemented in the development of the Mobile Museum Guiding System (MMGSys). In the module development of the guiding system, an “Agent” is designed as the human-machine interface in the user module. It controls the operation of the whole guiding system. A “Bluetooth” device is installed in the exhibit, which enhanced the efficiency of guidance in a short distance. By combining the current wireless bluetooth technique in the system, the expected problem of position detecting of the guiding system is solved. Satisfactory results have been shown by the experiment. From the experiment results of the research, it shows that the basic requirements of the Mobile Museum Guiding System have been achieved. The functionality of the current system can be further expanded by integrating relevant techniques. K. Robert Lai 賴國華 2004 學位論文 ; thesis 59 en_US |

碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 92 === The research studies the most popular technique of mobile computing.
