碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 空間設計系碩士班 === 92 === Abstract According to C.I.A.M International Modern Architecture Conference, which was located in Misrule on July 15th 1972, it led the latest architecture concepts of the famous modern architecture. Charles Jencks declared that the architecture of modernism had fad out at 3:32 in the afternoon of July 15th 1972 after Pruitt-Igoe was devastated. At that time post-modern architecture has come in front of stage step by step. The description of post-modern architecture which Jencks defined has been model of post-modern architecture. Since post modernism boomed up in 1970, it has led the thinking of post-modern design. The architecture in Taiwan has started to accept the latest trend of post-modern architecture under better and better standing of design style. That what is exactly post-modern architecture is being discussed and defined from abroad to Taiwan. Moreover, post-modern architecture is being suspected the appropriateness to exist. In this study the author attempts to interpret the construction of model through the history of architecture. In addition, the author analyzes the cases of post-modern architecture in Taiwan based on the elements of architecture and selects the cases post on the magazine of architect from 1972 to 2003.
