Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 環境與安全工程系碩士班 === 92 === The collections of atmospheric semi-volatile PAHs have been extensively discussed to their sampling artifacts in the literatures. This field study employs three sampling apparatus(PUF, Sandwich mixing cartridge, XAD single cartridge)to collect the gas and particle PAHs in atmospheres in order to realize the influence of distribution on sampling PAHs and their gas/particle partition. The collections of three sampling apparatus for the particle-containing PAHs have shown a similar value. From the view of gas-phase PAHs, the collection ratios of three sampling apparatus for less-ring PAHs(AcPy, AcP, Flu, PA, Ant, FL, Pyr)were 0.26, 0.93, and 1.00, respectively and received a similar collection ratio for the more-ring PAHs. Moreover, the slope (m ) of(Kp)for those three apparatus were –0.36, -0.55, and -0.56, respectively and the intercept (b) of Kp were –3.94, -5.34, and -5.39, respectively. Furthermore, the common intersection points of gas/particle partition for those three apparatus were(-3.40, -2.73), (-2.19, -4.13), and (-1.91, -4.31)respectively. Thus, the XAD cartridge appears to minimize the chemical interference during the solvent’s pre-treatment procedures and also to have similar collection efficiency of PAHs to Sandwich cartridge but a differing efficiency to PUF sampler. Therefore, a single XAD cartridge can be easily employed in a sampler for the collection of atmospheric PAHs in the future.
