The method of questionnaire was used as the main research investigation instrument, which was focused on all levels’ police constable of Yunlin county by random sampling with a certain scale. There were 760 questionnaires completed and 689 returned; there were 620 out of 760 (or 90.0%) were valid. Descriptive Statistics, Factor Analysis, Pearson’s r, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffe-test were used for the main statistical analysis of this study. As the results were shown: 1. Police constable has a high degree of constraint to participate in recreational/sports activities. There were 24.8 % of them whom did not participate in recreational/sports activities last week; and only 14.8 % of them could participate 3 times last week. 2. Gender, work’s position, marriage, age, and how long has been working these factors have a significant difference in recreational/sports activities participation. 3. The degree of subjective well-being and living satisfaction of police constable were shown quite low. 4. Gender, office or field work, and how long has been working these factors have a significant difference in the issue of subjective well-being. Gender, office or field work, marriage, age, position, educational background, and work’s type have also a significant difference in the issue of living satisfaction. 5. The relationship between recreational/sports activities participation and the issue of subjective well-being has a significant negative relation. 6. Recreational/sports activities participation has a significant indication for the predication of subjective well-being and living satisfaction; and the indication index are 10.8 % and 9.7 %. It is hoped that this study could provide a useful reference for police institution, police constable and further research in diminishing participation constraints in recreational/sports activities and enhancing both issues of living satisfaction and subjective well-being.
