Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 92 === In the thesis, we will develop an image rectification system to be used in a 3D viewing. The main purpose of the image rectification system is to rectify different kind of the stereo image pair. The rectified image is easily applied in the stereo monitor. Viewing the monitor, people’s dizzy can be effectively eliminated from the poor stereo correspondence.
The stereo vision system contains the left and right camera. The purpose of the rectified image is achieved by the feature of the stereo vision correspondent to the accurate camera calibration or the fundamental matrix without the stereo vision without the procedure of the camera calibration. In the thesis, we develop some algorithms and address the aspect of the relative modification. To effectively decrease variables can quickly rectify the left and right images, gain the fundamental matrix of the stereo image and achieve the high ratio of the visible stereo image.
The main objective of the thesis is to develop low-cost stereo vision the more suitable the visible stereo image by a low-cost stereo vision system. In our research, the equipments are one general digital camera and a 3D stereoscopic adapter to obtain the stereo image. The image captured by the inaccurate digital camera and 3D stereoscopic adapter has inevitable image distortions. This will cause that the epipolar line of left and right images are not collinear. Therefore, the main contribution of this thesis is to remove the problems with the epipolar line of left and right images by the method of the optimal and projective transform. The results we acquired are very satisfying and gratifying. Finally, we expect that the 3D stereoscopic adapter can also achieve the real time rectified stereo image.
