| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 電機工程系碩士班 === 92 === The aim of this thesis is to use the GSM network , together with current supervisory equipments , to offer another channel for remote control of dam gates of a power plant. This designed system uses a cell-phone to get the first information about the operation of the power plant. Therefore, it plays as a final safe defense guard in case of other control methods are out of work. Password for secure operation of this system is adopted. Master side of the system uses PCs and PLCs to get information of the plant and GSM modems to get dam and water level information through the VB program. Remote side of this system is composed of 8051 single chips, PLCs, and GSM modems , and an assembler language is used for contact with the master side .
