Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 92 === Engineering change is important for improvement in product quality, reducing the production cost and satisfying the customer’s demand. It is necessary to do engineering change in whole production development life cycle. Consequently, a complete engineering administrative system must contain the engineering change management, to rationalize and standardize the engineering change process and to reduce development cycle of production.
Our research investigates the case company and uses CommonKADS methodology to retrieve the experts’ knowledge and experience in the engineering change management system of the case company, and constructs the knowledge-based system model in order. In this work, we integrate UML modeling tool to construct Context Model and Concept Model. We also apply Dublin Core to current engineering change management system to combine the engineering change database and the attached files stored in file server, to provide consistent retrieve.
Communicating and storing related documents with computer and network can improve the work efficiency, ensure the correctness, time-effectiveness and fluency and make the professionals to know the latest states.
With the database and network, we can deal with large amount of information flow. We use column of Dublin Core’s to unify the namespace for query. Moreover, by combining XML and Dublin Core, we can integrate all the application systems tightly for better reusability and integrity with other information systems.
