Summary: | 碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 資訊管理系碩士班 === 92 === The purpose of this study is to conduct professional skill training and performance evaluation through e-learning. The subjects are the two class members of on-job training in Tainan Vocational Training Center. Students’ performances and attitude toward e-learning were compared with those who were trained with traditional training.
After training, students were required to take a skill test to find out their performances. And then they filled out a questionnaire which collects students’ background information such as how they access Internet, their experiences with relevant courses, and their satisfactory level of the training.
The results of the study are as follows:
1. As for the performances of the skill test, overall, there were no significant difference on the passing rate between traditional training group and e-learning group. However, traditional training group scored higher than e-learning group in the first part of the test which is about operating system. On the other hand, e-learning group scored higher than traditional training group in the second part of the test which is about installing software, data entry, and formatting.
2. As for the satisfactory level of way of learning, there were no significant differences between the two groups on the aspect of technical level and course organization and practicality. However, traditional training group rated higher on the sense of gaining than e-learning group.
