Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 企業管理系碩士班 === 92 === This thesis is a study of Taiwan companies’ competitive interaction behaviors in China. The main independent variables are resource similarity, multi-market contact, strategic similarity, and different types of rivals. The study uses these four independent variables to research what factors will influence Taiwan companies’ competitive interaction behaviors in China, and further to realize what kind of rivals are main competitors that Taiwan companies cognize, in order to build a cross-industries structure to provide some suggestions to help them when they make relative decisions. The study uses questionnaire survey to collect relative data, and then uses quantitative research methods such as Principal Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, Pearson’s Correlation Analysis, and Simple Regression Analysis to prove the research structure. In addition, Paired-T Test helps me to find out the order of competitors’ rival strengths. In consequence, most factors under these four independent variables will influence firms’ competitive interaction behaviors, including cooperative behaviors and differential non-price competitive behaviors, but all factors will not affect firms’ price competitive behaviors. However, different rivals’ threats will influence firms’ price competition without affecting their co-operation and non-price competition. Finally, the future research directions should consider about time variable will influence firms’ competitive behaviors or not, different variables will influence each other, or different industries, etc.
