Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業工程與管理研究所碩士班 === 92 === In Taiwan, more and more cases of medical malpractice happen nowadays. According to the data from National Health Insurance, surgical operation is easy to make medical claims break out. However, There had been few studies in Taiwan addressing to surgical operation risk from the point of system. In this research, we use factor analysis and analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to develop risk factors evaluation criteria used by surgical operation. The priorities of dimensions in the descending order are: the ability of the core doctor-nurse team, pre-operation patient’s condition, the interaction between medical personnel and patients, the interaction between medical personnel and software, the interaction between medical personnel, the interaction between medical personnel and hardware and the interaction between medical personnel and environment. Among the 32 risk factors, anterior 15 risk factors are 82.94% of total weight. This is the first empirical study on surgical patient safety in Taiwan and the study results with “Evaluation scale of risk factor in surgical operation” provide advise in developing surgical patient safety.
